chose to train with Dr. Ida Rolf's first two Master teachers Emmett Hutchins and Peter Melchior. My work is a synthesis of Emmett's power and effectiveness and Peter's sensitivity and artistry. I have integrated psychology with physiology, power with sensitivity, effectiveness with artistry. My work is "Holistic Bodywork that really works"

Structural Integration
André brings to his practice over forty years of bodywork experience including: Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, Acupressure, Polarity, Reflexology, pain management and energy work. He has worked and studied with the Rolf Institute and Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, CO and the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA.
He has augmented his training in Structural Integration with advanced training workshops as well as movement work in the Alexander Techniques, Aston patterning, Rolf Movement and Feldenkrais Movement. He is finishing a Masters in Somatic (Body-Centered) Psychology and a thesis paper on bodywork and the somatization of emotion entitled “The Psychology of the Physiology."
Based in Orange County NY, with a satellite office in Rockland County, André is internationally certified by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. He is a memeber of the International Association of Structural Integrators and the United States Association of Body-Centered Psychotherapy.
